Norm Crosby

Norm Crosby, the Master of Malaprop, is among the most recognized and widely quoted performers in show business. For many years, Crosby has been one of the busiest "name" comedians in the nation's best resorts and casino showrooms, as well as the top television shows both network and cable channels. Norm has appeared in several motion pictures and at the time of this writing is working on DVDs for his "Norm Crosby's Comedy Shop" which will soon be marketed nationally.

Norm serves as Jerry Lewis' co-host on the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon each year and has hosted TV talk shows, game shows, variety and award specials, as well as his own series "Norm Crosby's Comedy Shop" and "The Boys" which aired on the Showtime Network. Additionally, Norm serves as spokesman for all Anheuser-Busch products, a position he maintained for almost 20 years.

In recognition of his achievements, both in comedy and as a humanitarian, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce installed the "Norm Crosby" star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1982. Nine years later, Norm received the coveted "Victory Award" from President George H. W. Bush at the Kennedy Center Awards Gala as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award from Washington's prestigious Touchdown Club.

Norm has been a supporter of the Blind Childrens Center for many years. He has made their Tom Sullivan Blind Childrens Center Celebrity Golf Classic a great success and has throughly entertained golfers and dinner guests alike.

Norm currently lives in Los Angeles, California. He takes great pride in his wife, Joanie, a former Radio City Music Hall Rockette, their two sons Daniel and Andrew, daughter-in-law Maggie and grandchildren Jack and Lily.
