Why do we need a Building Campaign?
Because…
• We are uniquely suited, qualified, and positioned to extend educational services to these children.
• We are educating more children with multiple disabilities today than ever before.
• We are committed to providing these children and their families with the very best facilities and services.
• We need to add First, Second, and Third Grade classrooms to better serve our growing population.
• Services in the public schools are being drastically reduced for children in our target population.
• Our parents have asked us to keep working with their children through Third Grade.
Since 1950, the Blind Childrens Center has operated under the same roof, in the same classrooms, with the same loving approach and internationally recognized expertise. But it is time for change.
We need to IMPROVE our Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms; ADD Second and Third grades; and PURCHASE new and improved equipment.
