infoUSA presents The Tom Sullivan Blind Childrens Center Celebrity Golf Classic

Monday, May 2, 2005

On Monday, May 2nd, celebrities and corporate and individual golfers took on Hogan’s Alley to support the Blind Childrens Center.

The fundraising event, held at the prestigious Riviera Country Club, was a huge success raising over $135,000 for the Center’s children and families.

Kevin Griner of Harold Payne Plastics in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, is one of the tournament’s biggest fans. “This event is just wonderful,” says Kevin. “I cannot congratulate the staff at the Blind Childrens Center enough for such an outstanding, smooth running event. I play in about 10 to 15 charity tournaments every year and the Center’s is best by far. I really look forward to it every year.”

This year’s title sponsor was infoUSA, the nation’s largest sales leads and mailing list company. Other corporate sponsors included The Allergan Foundation, MetWest Securities, Lisa Hansen, Gartner Inc., Kayne Anderson Rudnick Investment Management, Keyestone Interlocking Paving Contractors, King Wire Partitions, KTN Enterprises, Latham & Watkins, Mr. Neil McLean & Dr. Hilary Garland, The Stein Family, RREEF and Tetsu & Kathy Tanimoto.

Trade sponsors included American Airlines, Danica & Charles Perez, Agron, KAS Engineering and Links Magazine and Life Motivations.

Celebrities who joined Tom Sullivan in support of the children were Norm Crosby, Peter Falk, Steve Garvey, Dennis McNeil, Joe Mantegna, Ron Masak, Haley Joel Osment, and Kenny Rankin.

The day was filled with shots made, shots missed and, most of all, warm hearts. A special thank you to everyone involved in making the day a success!
