Whether acting, singing, entertaining, writing, demonstrating his athletic
ability, or giving motivational speeches, Tom Sullivan continues to touch and
inspire. Tom has been a special friend of the Blind Childrens Center for more
than 29 years.
Another great day of golf at The Riviera Country Club
The course was perfectly groomed. The weather was beautiful and the golfers enjoyed a wonderful day. On Monday, April 23, 2007 they came together to support Tom Sullivan in his annual outing to raise money and awareness for the children at the Blind Childrens Center's annual golf tournament.
The Tom Sullivan Blind Childrens Center Celebrity Golf Classic present by John Hancock Life Insurance hit a hole in one for the kids!
The day began with lots of fun and challenging contests, including a blind-folded putting contest where each golfer got the chance to experience hitting the ball without using the sense of sight. The evening festivities were a grand success with entertainment from Blind Childrens Center's graduate Rex Lewis-Clack and our spirited live auction with John Carson.
Congratulations to our Steve Garvey Spirit of Light Award recipient this year, Dr. Richard French.
A special thank you to our tournament chairman, C. Herbert Joiner, the golf committee, and everyone involved in making it a really great day!
