Dear
Delta Gamma Sisters: Welcome to Los Angeles West Association of Delta
Gamma! My name is Carolyn Sperry and I am the president of
the Westside Association. We have a number
of fun activities planned for the year to support Delta Gamma and to provide
time to socialize with your sisters. THE DOWNLOW ON DELTA GAMMA HERE

As
you can see, there are so many opportunities to take part in Delta Gamma activities. We all lead busy lives so attend when you can. Obviously the largest and most traditional
event is Founders Day, but there are lots of other events in which you can
participate. And numerous events are
open to friends, spouses and significant others. CALL FOR OFFICERS! We’d
like to boost membership, keep up with paperwork, and allow our Delta Gamma
relationships to thrive. That
requires officers. Currently our
group is looking for the following:
None of these positions
are extremely time consuming when responsibilities are shared. Please step up and volunteer your time and
talents. And please let me know if
you have other talents you would like to contribute to the betterment of
Delta Gamma. $$ DUES, DUES, DUES $$ Membership and
membership dues are a necessity. Your financial support of the organization
is a lifelong commitment and we do need you to pay dues. If you have already paid your annual membership
dues, thank you very much. If you
haven’t, get your checkbook ready. Please send
a $35 check made out to LA West of Delta Gamma and
send it to Carolyn Sperry, 1122 South Holt Avenue #1, LA, CA 90035.
A portion of your dues goes to our Executive Offices while the rest is
used to cover mass mailings, donations to philanthropies, and, once in a
while, a DG event.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? Finally, what do you want Delta Gamma to
do for you? Provide social
activities? Assist in job networking? Provide philanthropic opportunities? Ideas in the past have included starting a
book club, hosting a career night for collegians, creating our own large
fundraising activity. Let me know
what floats your boat. |
