When you join TEAM BLIND CHILDREN, you are welcomed into our family of runners, walkers and cyclists who dedicate their effort in the LA Marathon to the children at the Blind Childrens Center. Athletes and volunteers receive a complimentary T-shirt!

BECOME A TEAM MEMBER

Invite friends, colleagues and others to sponsor your LA Marathon participation on behalf of the children as a TEAM MEMBER. They may pledge a flat amount or a per mile amount in recognition of your dedication to our very special children. (Their donations are fully tax-deductible.)

BECOME A CORPORATE SPONSOR

As a CORPORATE SPONSOR, your company joins our prestigious group of CORPORATE SPONSORS and receives recognition at one of Los Angeles’ most visible events, the LA Marathon. Sponsorships start at just $250. Call Laurie at the Center for details.

BECOME A FRIEND OF THE TEAM

As a FRIEND OF THE TEAM, you may make a direct contribution in support of THE TEAM or have fun asking friends and colleagues to support your NOT running, walking or cycling in the physically taxing LA Marathon!

Don't be left out! VOLUNTEER your time and talent on Race Day. Help us set up our Race Day Mile site, blow up balloons, and cheer on the athletes!

Collect checks from your pledge sponsors and send to Blind Childrens Center for you and your pledge sponsors to be eligible to win prizes. Make checks payable to Blind Childrens Center.

BLIND CHILDRENS CENTER

Official Charity of the LA Marathon
Founded in 1938, the Blind Childrens Center offers a program of total family services designed to meet the unique needs of infants and young children who are blind or visually impaired.

The money you raise will help support our Infant Program, Educational Preschool, Kindergarten, Afternoon Program, Family Services, Mentor & Advocacy Program, Publications Program and Medical Research Support.

A nonprofit organization, the Center receives no state or federal funding and is not a United Way agency. Your tax-deductible donations will go directly toward the Center’s early intervention programs and services for our children and their families.
