Help the charity of choice and enjoy a tax benefit
You may have the opportunity to give to the Blind Childrens Center through a payroll deduction. It is a wonderful way to help your charity of choice and enjoy a tax benefit.
Our children benefit, too!
Here’s how payroll deduction works: You may have your contribution automatically deducted from your pay through the United Way, Combined Federal Campaign or other giving program offered at your workplace.
To ensure that the contribution goes where you want it to go: Look for the Blind Childrens Center on the list of charities they provide and put the code number that appears next to the Center’s name on your donor card/form.
If the Center is not listed, then just write Blind Childrens Center in Los Angeles in the Donor Option section of the donor card/form.
That’s it! Every time you are paid you will know you are helping the children at the Blind Childrens Center. We’d like to know about your gift (sometimes the United Way takes a while to inform us), just drop us a note or call Muriel (323) 664-2153.
Our children and families thank you for making us a part of your charitable giving. Your gift is much appreciated.
