In the Classroom

The new school year has begun and we’re looking forward to a year of growth and progress for the children. Michael, Leslie, Lianne, and Armando are all returning students so they are familiar with the school routine and staff which will make for a smooth transition to their new classroom. They are engaged in so many fun things this year. They are learning to recognize and spell their names and they recently enjoyed planting flowers and finding earth worms to examine up close.
They also experienced a week of indoor camping which included sleeping in a tent, using a flashlight, going on a hike, and cooking noodle soup outdoors. Great fun! We are always looking for fun experiences that enhance the children’s learning and understanding of themselves.
