Cinco De Mayo

Celebration!

Everyone had a great time playing golf and raising money for the children. Six professional blind golfers and 11 celebrities played with us this year which made for an exceptional day. Rex Lewis, former Blind Childrens Center student, entertained us by playing his keyboard and Midge Horton, Blind Childrens Center Executive Director, was awarded The Steve Garvey Spirit of Light Award by Mr. Garvey. The all-day event included 18 holes of golf, a putting contest (and a unique blind-folded putting challenge), contest holes, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a live and silent auction.
