IN THIS ISSUE
Our participation in the Los Angeles Marathon was a huge success! We raised over $36,000 this year. Co-Chair Larry Meyer ran the entire marathon dressed as our mascot Fifo the Frog! Seventy athletes participated on our behalf as "Friends of Team Blind Children," and over 100 volunteers joined us at our site on mile 10 of the course.
Also, 50 Delta Gammas from local Southern California universities helped support Team Blind Children by holding two car washes at the Center. They raised over $900! Thanks again to everyone who made the day so great!
