Join us in celebrating

Antarctica Marathon fundraiser

Board member Larry Meyer

On February 26, 2005, Blind Childrens Center Board member Larry Meyer was one of 190 globetrotting athletes from 13 countries who traveled an average of 8,000 miles each by land, air and sea to run a marathon on what is known as the coldest, windiest, iciest and most remote continent on earth. Larry dedicates this race as a fundraiser for the Center. He completed the frigid-footed tour over gnarly hills, through icy streams and up and down the ominous Collins Glacier in seven hours. The marathon took place on King George Island off the Antarctic Peninsula.

Please join us in celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime event by sending a donation on Larry’s behalf for the children at the Blind Childrens Center.

You too can be a part of Larry’s Antarctica Marathon, contact the Blind Childrens Center with your donation today ... tell ’em Larry sent you!
