A family-centered agency serving children with visual impairments
IN THIS ISSUE
June 24th was an exciting day at the Blind Childrens Center for four very special students and their families. Students Eduardo Cholula, Obed Espino, Maria Chakelian, and Eric Ortiz, dressed in blazing blue caps and gowns, celebrated their graduation with a fun-filled ceremony.
Prior to the presentation of diplomas, the graduates, joined by their classmates, wowed the crowd with musical performances and skits including "Teacher Espino's Class" and "The Hokey Pokey." Following the energy-infused show, each graduate received a diploma, a certificate from the Mayor's Office, and a backpack full of fun surprises.
Both the families and the Center's staff are very proud of these four amazing students and all of their accomplishments. We wish them luck and hope that they all plan frequent visits to the Center because we will miss them very much.
Congratulations & best wishes!
