New multi-sensory room
Grab your hard hats and a hammer, it's remodeling time at the Blind Childrens Center! The Center is adding a new multi-sensory room to be used by students in the infant, preschool and kindergarten programs. The room has been designed to insulate children from any distractions, and focus their attention on a wide range of sensory experiences.
The multi-sensory room will include a vibrating wall and floor unit, an interactive ball pool, and a fiber optic curtain, along with many more great toys and tools to help the students develop.
Special thanks to the Delta Gamma Foundation, The Gibney Family Foundation, Select Office Foundation and Ryan Sparks for making this project possible.
