A Letter from the President
Jennifer Brown

Dear Friends,
Happy New Year! I am honored and excited to serve as the new Board of Directors President for the Blind Childrens Center.
As I embark on this position, I would like to acknowledge the hard working efforts of the outgoing President, Carolyn Newberry. We are thankful for her dedication and commitment as our President and are fortunate that she will continue her work with us as a board member. A heartfelt thank you, Carolyn.
Moving forward as Board President, I am thrilled to partner with such a wonderful staff and board as we continue furthering the goals and objectives of the Blind Childrens Center. I want to personally thank each one of you receiving this letter for your commitment and involvement with the Center. It is because of your unwavering belief in this organization and its vision that we will have continued success. The Blind Childrens Center has put together a staff and specialized services that surpass any other institution, and I can proudly state that our programs are used as a model for other organizations that are seeking success in enabling families and children to experience the glories of this world with knowledge and wonder.
I am continually inspired by our team at the Center. I am committed to the Blind Childrens Center, and to you as the champions that keep the Blind Childrens Center doors open and thriving. The Blind Childrens Center continues to be a positive and stimulating environment, where each person who walks through our doors is viewed as unique and special. The Center's emphasis is placed on being the best you can be each day, enjoying each day, relishing the moment, with the thought of continually building value in the child and their family. The Blind Childrens Center is a family and I am humbled to be a part of it.
Of course, there is much to do to meet the challenges that lie ahead. So as 2011 begins, I want to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year and thank you for your steadfast commitment to the Blind Childrens Center. Echoing the words of my wise and dear friend Annie Ruth, "Inch by Inch, Life is a Cinch."
Cheers,
Jennifer Brown
