Thank you for visiting the Blind Children’s Center (BCC) Delta Gamma Volunteer page! Below you will find different opportunities your chapter can support BCC!

Interested in volunteering or starting a service project? Please reach out to Community Relations Manager and Delta Gamma Alumna (Zeta Lambda-Riverside), Jasmin Joya, at jasmin@blindchildrenscenter.org to get started.
Delta Gamma Tours – On most Fridays from 9:30am – 11:30am BCC offers tours for Delta Gamma collegian chapters. During each tour, chapters learn more about the history of BCC, tour the campus, meet students, and complete a service project. All tour reservations are first come first serve.
Charity of Choice – One of the best ways to support the Blind Children’s Center is by designating us as your Charity of Choice for your anchored fundraising events! If you’re hosting an Anchor Splash, Anchor Bowl, Anchor Slam, or other Anchor event, please consider choosing BCC as your designated charity. Your support enables the Blind Children’s Center to continue our mission of providing high quality early childhood education with a specialized focus on children who are blind or visually impaired.
Special Events – While we don’t host many special events, we love to have DG volunteers be part of our event team when the time comes! We normally host an event in December and April.
Off-site Projects –
- Book Drive
- Classroom Supply Drive
- Gift Bags – We’re always looking for chapters to donate gift bags filled with special items to distribute to our students during school events.
- Parent Goodie Bags – All our newly referred parents receive a goodie bag filled with thoughtful items as a warm welcome to the BCC community. If your chapter is interested in donating goodie bags, please let us know.
- Support a classroom by purchasing an item on our Wishlist!
