A matching gift is a donation made by a corporation or foundation on behalf of an employee, matching the employee’s contribution to a nonprofit organization. This can be a match of your personal donation or a match of your entire fundraising total, depending on your company’s guidelines. Matching gift programs vary. Please check with your Human Resources or Corporate Giving Department for your company’s guidelines.
