Volunteer with Us!
The Blind Children’s Center was founded 85 years ago by a dedicated group of individuals who joined together to give back to the Los Angeles community. Since then, our tradition of volunteerism has continued, and we encourage you to join us through various opportunities at our Hollywood campus and offsite. We simply would not be where we are without the wonderful help of our volunteers. Thank you for considering a valuable opportunity to join us. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please contact our Community Relations Manager, Jasmin Joya, at jasmin@blindchildrenscenter.org, for more information. We will do our best to match your interests with specific projects that are vital to our mission.
See below for more information about volunteering as a:

Volunteers play a huge role at the Center’s annual fundraiser luncehon. Other events do come up from time to time, so please feel free to reach out to us directly. For more information, please contact our Director of Development and Communications, Scott Kassel, at scott@blindchildrenscenter.org.

Delta Gammas
We truly value the longstanding relationships we’ve cultivated with Southern California Delta Gamma women since our founding in 1938. Our goal is to create a dedicated network of collegians and alumnae in Los Angeles to build an even deeper bond of sisterhood. We value your continued support and hope to be a place where we can all come together in Service for Sight. Most Fridays during the school year from 9:30 – 11:30 am, the Center hosts designated Collegian Volunteer Days where DGs from universities throughout Southern California tour the Center, visit with our students, and assist with fundraising efforts. Collegian visits are on a first come, first served basis. To schedule your chapter visit, please contact our Community Relations Manager, Jasmin Joya, jasmin@blindchildrenscenter.org.
